Hi Ben. Comic Sans really isn't that readable for a book. You're much better off going with a simple font with serifs for the novel part. Look for fonts with the word 'book' in them.

I'm writing a hybrid comic book/novel. Every left page is a novel and every right page are comic book illustrations. I'm having trouble deciding what I should use as a font. My Word document currently has Comic Sans bold 14 to make the story look and feel like a comic while still in the form of a novel. I downloaded an actual comic book font, but it's not very easy on the eyes. Comic Sans is very easy to read, but there is so much hatred towards it on the web. Something standard like Times New Roman or Arial just is far too ordinary for such a unique piece of literature. Any suggestions?
